Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her career with the 2001 re-election campaigns in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki then became the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign. Psaki was the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her appointment at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30, 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in 2015 , and was there until the end.
